Professional development projects for teachers in the Republic of Tajikistan are implemented with the support of the European Union to promote the education and labour market sectors in Tajikistan. Courses on ‘Pedagogy of the Future: Solutions for Modern Schools’, ‘Professional Coaching: Effective Methodologies for the Development of Teachers’, and ‘Development of Functional Literacy of Students’ were organised within the framework of international cooperation. Teacher training (Malawi, Africa) from Nalikule College of Education. African teachers learnt the main algorithms of Lesson Study and Action Research.
Republic of Azerbaijan
Teachers from the Republic of Azerbaijan were trained in the large-scale programme ‘Effective Teacher: From Teaching to Research’. All modules of the course are dedicated to global trends in world pedagogy and real tools for a particular teacher.
Turkmenistan
Within the framework of the European Union project ‘Assistance to the education system of Turkmenistan’, training seminars have been held to improve the qualifications of teachers, including the development of professional development programmes.
Republic of Kyrgyzstan
Teachers from the regions of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan received training on professional development ‘Teacher Research: Lesson Study and Action Research’, which is focused on expanding research activities and systematic professional development of teachers.
