The results of the study allowed to development of a concept, structural model and fundamental principles of the professional standard "Teacher" in Kazakhstan, which is a systematised understanding of quality teaching and an objective tool for making informed judgements and decisions.
- The requirements for teacher competence are inextricably linked to its assessment, which should be not only relevant and fair but also in line with the dynamic changes that occur in real life and are inevitably projected onto the education system.
Various assessment methods and tools, including professional standards, can be the key to solving this problem," said Irina Umatgireevna. IFTE Forum is one of the world's largest specialised scientific platforms on teacher education, organised within the walls of Kazan Federal University.
