‘At first, I thought that Lesson Study was only about lesson planning. But later I realised that it is much broader: it is about the body language of teachers and students, their attitude to learning, the development of interest and the ability to reflect,’ said geography teacher Saadat Usmanova.
Since 2022, the Center of Excellence has trained more than 150 teachers from the Sapat network, providing post-course support and assistance in holding local conferences. Last year, a report on the implementation of Lesson Study in Kyrgyzstan, initiated by the Center of Excellence, was presented at the National Conference in Astana. The cooperation will continue in the new academic year.
