Nearly 200 teachers from rural hub schools took part in the programme in person, while more than 800 educators joined online. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Zhuldyz Suleimenova, Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, outlined key priorities for the further development of the national education system.
Throughout the intensive programme, participants exchanged experience during pedagogical and facilitation sessions and took part in practical learning tracks. Discussions focused on the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence, the development of project-based and collaborative learning, and the strengthening of students’ research skills. Teachers also presented successful STEM practices and shared practical cases from their professional experience.
The intensive programme was held as part of the “Developing the Capacity of Rural Hub Schools” project. The project is implemented with the support of the “Qazaqstan Halqyna” Public Fund, the Education Development Support Fund, and the Autonomous Educational Organization “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools.” It aims to strengthen the capacity of rural schools and expand educational opportunities for students and teachers.
