At the symposium, the role of the Center of Excellence in implementing the Lesson Study approach in the education system of Kazakhstan was discussed; the results of research on the factors that influence the sustainability of the Lesson Study approach were presented.
In addition, the results of Toshiya Chichibu's research, which involved more than 9,000 teachers, were presented. The study described the current situation of the Lesson Study approach in Kazakhstan.
At the end of the symposium, Peter Dudley noted the rapid development of the Lesson Study in Kazakhstan and the importance and contribution of the Center of Excellence in its introduction to schools.
