Under the EU project “Support of the Turkmenistan Education System” Center of Excellence of “Nazarbayev Intellectual schools” AEO conducts in-service training courses and seminars for Turkmenistan teachers since 2019.
During the period between January 6 and 31, 2020 Ashgabat hosted training seminars for 162 teachers of secondary schools, tertiary education organizations, education centers and employees of Turkmenistan National Institute of Education.
The Project manager Stefan Sievert noted the actual necessity of seminars on the matters of teacher’s research practice and criteria-based assessment. Seminars taught by experienced trainers Y. Katayev, A. Murzagaliyeva, J. Jansughirova, K. Burunbetova gave a new impulse to the creativity and academic initiation development.
In his essay on the results of courses, Russian language teacher of specialized secondary school of foreign language teaching №12 of Mary etrap, Mary vilayat M.A. Aganazarov noted: “Courses broaden frames of mind, nudge us to self-development and advance our professional excellence… The teacher should always master own competence and authority in the eyes of students and colleagues”.
The director of Turkmenistan National Institute of education B.B. Bashimov underlined the role of Kazakhstan education development strategy in widening professional mindset of teachers and expressed certainty in further collaboration of two friendly nations.
