For its part, the NIS Center of Excellence presented its experience and successful practices in planning and monitoring the educational process, developing curricula, and building the professional competencies of trainers. Particular attention was paid to practical approaches to self- and peer assessment.
‘For us, organising an internship platform is, on the one hand, a valuable experience and, on the other hand, recognition and trust in our unique model of professional development for teachers,’ said Zhanbota Kabdykarimova, Deputy Chairperson of the Board of AEO "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools".
The cooperation between the CoE and educational institutions in Tajikistan is systematic in nature and aimed at regular exchange of experience, introduction of modern educational practices and strengthening of professional ties.
"All areas are important to us. It was particularly valuable to see how this is implemented in practice. We noted that the emphasis here is on active teaching methods and the creation of a comfortable educational environment. This is exactly what is needed in Tajikistan today. Such exchanges will help make teacher training more effective," said Manuchehra Chumakhonova, Head of the Department at the Republican Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Education Workers of the Republic of Tajikistan.
