Teachers from almost all regions of the republic - the capital, Jalal-Abad, Chui, Talas, Osh, Batkent and Issyk-Kul oblasts - sat at the desks of the CPM. New knowledge was learnt by representatives of the international network "Sapat", Bishkek lyceums named after Chingiz Aitmatov and "Aichurek", United World and other well-known schools. The teachers of the Presidential Lyceum "Akylman" came from Cholpon-Ata.
For the first time in the Center's history, lessons for teachers were held in English, Kazakh, Kyrgyz and Russian. From the first day of training, high standards in the professional development of Kyrgyz colleagues were set by the Centre's trainers Raushan Abisheva, Elvira Rakhmail and Kyz-Zhibek Abdramanova. The results of the first stage of the large-scale programme were summed up at the thematic conference "Teacher Research: Lesson Study and Action Research".
The poster session was a creative report on successful training and ambitious prospects. All details of systematic analysis of their own practice, first of all, lesson study, were heard from Raushan Abisheva, Elvira Rakhmail, and Kyz-Zhibek Abdramanova. Kyrgyz colleagues were presented with the strategic priorities of the World Association of Lesson Studies and details of the international conference, which will be held for the first time in the post-Soviet space - in Astana in September 2024.
The main results of the large-scale programme confirmed the huge demand among Kyrgyz teachers to study global trends, tools and practices of world education. Project Manager of the Center of Excellence Ardak Zakaryanova noted the interest of foreign colleagues in continuing systematic cooperation.
