As part of this initiative, the Center’s trainers completed professional development courses in Xi’an, China, at Shaanxi Normal University, one of the country’s leading teacher-training institutions with extensive expertise in STEM education and artificial intelligence.
The programme included expert lectures, hands-on work with digital platforms, the development of artificial intelligence projects, and an exploration of approaches to adapting STEM projects to the educational priorities and contexts of Central Asian countries.
The knowledge and expertise gained will be used to further enhance professional development programmes and support the implementation of effective STEM practices in schools, helping to align school education more closely with international standards and the demands of an increasingly digital world.
