On January 14, 2020, the Kyzylorda regional educational center, jointly with the Center of excellence and the Nazarbayev Intellectual school, held a seminar on the theme "Professional orientation: experience and new opportunities" on the basis of secondary school No. 144 named after S. Alzhikov. The seminar, which brought together about 200 teachers, was held in several areas. At the plenary session, the CPM trainers and specialists of the training center made a report on the trajectory of career guidance work at the school, and introduced the participants to the seminar’s program.
In the section of the modern content of professional orientation, CPM coaches and specialists of the Intellectual school established a dialogue platform on the issues of the Atlas of specialties, psychological features of personal abilities, skills of the 21st century, effective organization of work with parents on vocational guidance of students, planning of vocational guidance work. In the third part, the participating teachers took part in master classes of specialists of additional education in the region, were acquainted with the work of circles for the formation of professional skills.
Curators, teachers, organizers and educators of the intellectual school dormitories held extracurricular activities with students in grades 8-10 of secondary school No. 144.S. Alikova about the professional education business. "The profession I chose..."The TEDx project, the "Your place in life" training, the "startup business ideas" competition, the "New professions" competition, and the "specialty map" intellectual game were able to increase intelligence and get new directions in choosing a profession.
CPM trainers held a facilitation session "Effective ways to plan career guidance work", where teachers shared knowledge and ideas acquired at the seminar. At the end of the event, a number of education workers were awarded letters of thanks From the Department of education of the Kyzylorda region, Center of Excellence, and in conclusion, the school students organized a concert program.
