      The trainers of the thematic platform "Development of Functional Platform" believe that the primary goal of a teacher is not only to impart knowledge but also to prepare students to apply this knowledge in real-life situations. According to Kalamkas Abdikarimova, a student should be able to recall the knowledge they acquired at school when faced with any situation.

      In today's world, functional literacy is defined as the ability to analyze and reflect on non-standard life situations, employ critical thinking, and apply skills and experience.  

       

      Talgat Mukutov, a trainer of CoE, asserts that while gaining knowledge was a primary purpose of education in the 20th century, teachers of the 21st century should also focus on developing soft and hard skills and emotional intelligence in their students to prepare them for success in life.
