On 12 November 2020, another online meeting within the “Inspiration” programme hosted Altynay Asylmuratova. Her name is quite well-known in various countries. She represents the vast, enchanting and wonderful world of ballet. The “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools” AEO staff had a time with the provost of Kazakh National Choreography Academy, art director of Astana Opera ballet troupe, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, holder of the Order of Friendship and the Order of “Parasat” Altynai Asylmuratova.
The meeting was denoted by the welcoming speech of the “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools’ AEO Board Chairperson Kulyash Shamshidinova. In her speech, she distinguished creative achievements of Altynay Asylmuratova and the great role of contemporary art in the upbringing of children and adolescents.
Altynai Abduakhimovna gladly told about her family, about the roots of her love for the theater, which started literally from the cradle. With great warmth she told about her grandfather, who despite everything connected his life with ballet, about her becoming as a ballet dancer. She spoke with gratitude about the fruitful collaboration with Roland Petit and Sir Kenneth Macmillan, about the performances of such world masterpieces as “Notre Dame Cathedral”, “Capella”, “Manon”, etc.
Altynai Abduakhimovna told about her great desire to pass on all her knowledge and experience to young artists and children. The audience was especially touched by her words: “Art must be practiced with a pure soul! You don’t make money on art. You love art and devote lives to it…”
The spectators of the meeting were interested in the creative successes of the ballet dancer in Kazakhstan and abroad, the perspectives for the development of the home ballet art, new projects and future plans.
The online meeting was attended by over 300 spectators from different regions of Kazakhstan. The staff of the organization warmly thanked Altynai Abduakhimovna for the time and the cheer. The meeting with the legendary ballet dancer took place in an atmosphere of warmth and mutual trust.
