About the branch

The branch in Aktau is a platform for training, for methodological support and exchange of pedagogical experience of teachers of the region. It has become a tradition in the branch to hold annual competitions such as "Best Leading School", "Best Constructivist Lesson", "Best Coaching Lesson", which helps to identify the best pedagogical practices in the region. The branch trainers are a creative team that works on the methodological topic "Effective Use of Lesson Study in the Learning Process", writes methodological manuals and recommendations. They are also authors of 3D posters that show the work of the region's leading schools.

About the branch

The staff of the branch in Aktobe is presented by 6 trainers. The main direction of the branch work is professional development and methodical support of pedagogues of educational institutions of the region by developing the network of leading schools and its professional communities. The branch is famous by the following projects Vocational Schools, contests of the leading schools, subject-based methodical days of teachers’ communities. Also, the branch supports cooperation with the US Embassy.

About the branch

The branch consists of 12 people who are engaged in professional development of teachers in Almaty. Trainers of the branch conduct Action Research on the topic “Lesson Study in developing teachers’ practice” where more than 200 principals, 1000 teachers are involved. Trainers conducted nearly 300 in-service training courses for more than 7500 principals and teachers. Professional and personal interests, their need in sharing gained experience as well as taking experience from other educators served as a motivation for gathering teachers of surrounding regions to the online contests “25 books, 25 songs”, “Father’s Day”, “Mother’s Day”. In the frame of sharing Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools experience the following projects are also implemented “100 books, 100 songs”, “One day in parents’ workplaces”.

The branch was found in 2013 and more than 5000 pedagogues conducted in-service training courses. The branch has all necessary conditions for continuing professional education of pedagogues. It also has an active position in developing educational network community of region teachers, supporting professional activities of academic staff of Atyrau State University after K. Dosmukhametov and Humanitarian College after K. Dutbayeva, teachers of educational organisations that trained under in-service training courses.

About the branch

The branch of the Center of Excellence located in the city of coal miners was found in 2012. The branch has 12 certified trainers, trained by the national and international experts. The main area of the branch activities is the idea of continuous professional development of teachers of the region within the context of reforming and integration of Kazakhstani education into the world educational space. The priority direction of the branch is the research and improving the practice of adult learning, implementation and support of the projects, directed to the development of leadership skills of teachers within professional network of teachers of Karaganda region.

About the branch

The branch of the Center of Excellence in Kokshetau was founded in 2011 with 9 members. The branch has been working on improving professional development of Akmola region. One of the main achievements of the branch is conducting continuous methodical support to the leading schools of the region. The methodical topic of the branch is “Development of leadership position of leading school coordinators through conducting systematic support and providing professional development”. The results of work with leading schools was presented on 4 international conferences (2016, 2018 - World Association of Lesson Studies, 2016, 2017 – VIII/IX International research-to-practice conference AOO “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools”).

About the branch

The branch of the Center of Excellence in Kostanay was founded in 2012. The branch has creative team of trainers, realizing the in-service training courses of pedagogic staff of educational organisations. Trainers can combine tendencies and approaches in educating adults, developing and training colleagues online and offline. The main feature of the branch is creating graphic organizers in training and using of gaming as a tool of achieving pedagogic ideas. Within the work on methodical topic “Coordination of managing the cooperation of leading school teachers with the aim of development research skills of teachers” the staff of the branch created the game “Insight laboratory” that helps to develop research skills of teachers, as well as a workshop for principals “Creating an effective programme of school development through cooperation of school managers in the content of implementing the updated curriculum”. The branch also created “The instruments of visual communication in teachers professional support”.

About the branch

The branch has 10 creative members who work on conducting professional development of teachers of Kyzylorda region. The main credo of the branch is devoted to the development of common values, culture of leadership and high professional potential. The branch conducts systematic work with innovative schools that become supporting platform on implementing updated curriculum into practice. Within the project “Methodical caravan” the branch organized measures on providing methodical support for educational organisations. In 2016 the branch became the owner of the nomination “Professional skills and high quality” on methodical festival “Joining ideas, improving practice”. Also, trainers of the branch won the first place in the competition “The best trainers’ team” organised by the Center of Excellence in 2017. The branch conducts research with the aim of building professional potential of teachers. The results of research were presented on International Conference of WALS in Exeter, as well as on research-to-practice Conference of Institute of Education of High School of Economics in Moscow.

It was founded 7 years ago, during this period more than 5000 teachers received in-service training courses. The creative team of the branch works on professional development and post-course support of teachers of the region by leading schools, higher educational institutions, colleges and institution of pre-school development. The staff of the branch proves their proficiency by participating in professional contests: “Trainer of the year” – 3rd place, festival “Joining ideas, improving practice” – nomination “For commitment and high results”, the contest “The best trainer’s team” – Diploma of II degree and Audience Choice Award. Trainers of the branch has continuously improved their knowledge, always try to find new ways and methods of self-development, and are active participants of international, national, regional conferences. They also publish their articles in journals and collections of scientific conferences.

About the branch

The branch of the Center of Excellence in Petropavlovsk was found in 2013. During 6 years the branch trained more than 6000 teachers on different programmes. The team of trainers of the branch work on the following principles – leadership position and personal responsibility, collaboration in taking decisions, constructivist approach. For us, training is an opportunity for self-realization, the source of unlimited creativity, satisfaction and recognition. Trainers of the branch has constantly been working on their self-education. They also learn and discuss pedagogic and psychological works of the famous writers, use their experience in practice. Trainers of the branch visited London where they participated in s the seminar “Formation of school of future” and in Saint-Petersburg on seminar “Leadership and management effectiveness”, organised by the Moscow School of Business.

About the branch

The branch of the Center of Excellence in Taldykorgan was found in 2011. Team of trainers of the branch consists of 15 members who engaged on training under the in-service training programmes, post-course methodical support of Almaty region teachers. The branch has international experience; within the project of EU “Support to the Education System in Turkmenistan” trainers of the branch conducted the courses on “Innovative methods of teaching” for teachers of comprehensive schools, academic teaching staff and staff of National Institute of Education of the Republic of Turkmenistan. The work on realization of methodical topic “Formative assessment: opportunities and ways of improving” jointly with the Zhetysu State University after I. Zhansugurov has reached a new qualitative level. With support from the trainers of the branch academic staff of the given university develop programmes of new elective courses on assessment. Trainers are also conducted educational activities for academic staff, trainers and students of the university. Together with the university the branch developed and conducted scientific conferences on assessment.

About the branch

The branch of the Center of Excellence in Taraz was found in 2012. The branch has a very cohesive team of trainers which work on in-service training of pedagogic staff of Zhambyl region. During the period of their work more than 5000 teachers were trained on different programmes. The work of the branch is united by the methodical topic “Action Research: an effective way in solving the problems of school and teachers”. In conducting Action Research teachers of region are engaged. Due to high qualification of trainers, the work has good results. Teachers and principals of schools take prizes on different educational contests, publish methodical recommendations according to the results of their research.

The branch was found in 2012.
 The branch in Uralsk has a high level of initiative in development of up-to-date educational projects:
- Association “Club of school principals, undergoing training on In-service training programmes for the head staff of comprehensive secondary schools of western region “School-Master-Class”;
- Jointly with Aktobe branch initiated and conducted Forum of leading schools. The traditional element of the Forum in addition to active discussion of methodical support of updating the content of education is conduction of regional contest “The best professional network”;
- Joint project with the students of West-Kazakhstan State University after M. Utemisov on modernization of teaching practice – USM (University – School - Mastery);
- Joint International Laboratory of Educational Innovations on the basis of West-Kazakhstan University after M. Utemisov is conducted;
- Together with the branch in Aktobe it was initiated conduction of the project “Invitation of English language specialist”.

About the branch

The branch of Chu “center of pedagogical excellence” has been operating in Ust-Kamenogorsk since 2011. A team of trainers of 11 people provides continuous post-course methodological support and professional development of teachers of East Kazakhstan region. In addition, the trainers of the branch are engaged in writing methodological manuals, manuals for teachers of the Republic, drawing up a program of advanced training courses conducted in online and offline formats and conducting pedagogical research The branch has experience in working with international organizations: it conducted advanced training courses for teachers of the Republic of Turkmenistan on the topic” assessment of academic achievements based on criteria", within the framework of international cooperation with the Altai Institute for the development of Education named after A. Toporkov in the field of professional development of teachers (Barnaul, Russian Federation). The branch works closely with the teaching staff of the Departments of training teachers of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University in the direction of research, scientific-methodological and use of new educational technologies.

The branch of the Center of Excellence in Shymkent was found in 2012 and more than 30 000 teachers were trained during this period. Trainers of the branch – team of professional and creative people who work on continuous professional development of pedagogic staff through post-course support. Trainers take part in the projects on training academic staff of higher educational organisations and colleges, engaged in preparing future teachers. In 2019 trainers of the branch participated in the Project of European Union « Support to the Education System in Turkmenistan». The branch has a strong team spirit and cohesiveness. The important event for the branch was the first victory on the republican contest “The trainer of the year” – 2 nd place, “The best team of trainers-2017” –3rd place. The branch is continuing to carry out its tasks, establish creditability and recognition among teaching community of our region.
