Сотрудничество с колледжами: презентация особенностей обновленных программ

This April, the trainers of the Center of Excellence branch in Kokshetau held a series of training events for the colleges: the Multi-Disciploinary College at Kokshetau State University named after Sh.Ualikhanov, the Kazakh Humanitarian and Technical College (KazGTK). Deputy Directors of colleges, department heads, teachers and students attended the event. Subjects themes had been determined by the administrations of colleges. On April 5, at Kazakh Humanitarian-Technical College, for teachers and students of the preschool department, seminars were held on the subject of “The Peculiarities of Pre-school Education Program” and “Active teaching methods”. On April 5 and 9 in the Multidisciplinary College at KSU named after Sh. Ualikhanov held seminars for college teachers and 4-year students of the specialties "English Language" and "Russian language and literature." Trainings were organized in the framework of preparing students for school practice. The participants of the seminars managed to consider the topics "Program for updating the content of education in English lessons: the development of 4 types of language skills. Criteria-based assessment". On April 11, at the training for the administration and teachers of KazGTK, the topic “Student-oriented learning: modern approaches and tools” was considered. New roles of the student and teacher as a facilitator in the educational process were discussed. At the practical part, the participants developed differentiated tasks in accordance with the learning objectives. The teachers asked clarifying questions on the implementation of the updated programs of secondary education. A joint review of the existing knowledge requirements for basic documentation was helpful. Discussion of lesson planning and the development of multi-level tasks in accordance with the learning objectives contributed to the understanding of the key ideas of formative assessment. Feedback revealed the need for follow-up training activities aimed at better training of students of pedagogical colleges for pedagogical practice in terms of updating the content of secondary education.
